CRAWFORD SWIMMING SCHOOL HOSTS NIGERIA'S FIRST SWIMMING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 7 AND 10 YEARS

Lagos, Nigeria 1st December 2017 The Management of Crawford Swimming World in collaboration with the Nigeria Swimming Records^TM  cordially invites you the 2018 edition of its Age grade swimming competition, which will hold on Saturday 20^th January, 2018 tagged “Bringing Nigeria to the World”

The Managing Director of the Crawford Swimming World, Mr Tayo Orekoya at a press briefing announced the commencement of registration for its quarterly swimming competition, which is geared towards deepening the sport of swimming and to reward young swimmers for their hard work.

He mentioned that the swim event will see Age grade swimmers from 7 to 10 years compete for medals and awards within a friendly environment. The competition will hold at the 20 meters swimming pool of the Orchid Hotel, Lekki.

Crawford has put together this competition because of the fervent yearnings of many young swimmers who have continued to learn and practice without a competition or a medal to show for their continued hard work; the swimming competition is planned to happen every quarter.

Crawford Swimming World is a swimming school that was funded by the Nigerian Federal Government under the YOUWIN Programme and as part of our give back to the children of Nigerian and indeed Lagos state; we have put together this quarterly swim event where age grade swimmers will swim and win laurels whilst their swim time will also be tracked on the Nigeria Swimming records web portal.

The young swimmers will be extremely delighted to see many parents and adult when they swim for laurels. THESPIAN FAMILY THEATRE PRESENTS ‘ADESEWA’ THE MUSICAL THIS DECEMBER

THESPIAN Family Theatre & Productions, one of Nigeria’s foremost performing arts companies is back with another thrilling stage play, ‘Adesewa the Musical’, as it celebrates its 15-year anniversary of being on stage. The organization will showcase some of their audience’s favourites in a year- long programme starting from December 2017. The anniversary will be kicked off with the epic production, ‘Adesewa the Musical’, one of the organization’s biggest projects so far.

The Musical, ‘Adesewa’ written by Ayo Jaiyesimi, is an exciting 90- minute stageplay laced with drama, music and dance. Who is Adesewa? This is a question that should be on everyone’s lips. The musical theatrical performance tells the story of how Adesewa, the girl with the golden voice manages to keep her passion alive despite the ups and downs in her life. Well, when life gets tough, the tough get going… that’s what they say!

Starring Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, a stage and screen favourite, William Benson, Tunji Sotimirin, Henry Arnold, Efe Mayford-Orhorha, and many more talented actors, singers and dancers.
